TEACHING STANDARDS
At IDTS, our mission is to provide the highest quality education to dance teachers. Our in-person courses are collaborative and rooted in deep group discussions. We believe that dance is an art form that requires both creativity and technique, we encourage the artistic development of the teacher alongside the dance science technical understanding. Our five levels of study are designed to provide dance teachers with the knowledge and skills they need to teach dance in a safe and effective manner. We also offer advanced courses in anatomy, injury prevention, and classroom management to ensure that our certified teachers are equipped to handle any situation that may arise in the dance studio. We are passionate about dance education and are committed to providing our teachers with the best possible training.
